Custom USB hub board providing multiple USB-C/USB interfaces from a compact embedded design.

Engineering approach

Consumer electronics design has to hold up under volume manufacturing, which means component selection and layout choices are made with sourcing and assembly yield in mind from the start. On this board, that translates into a component set built around 4L and USB hub controller, with layout and stack-up decisions driven by manufacturability at volume, cost-conscious component selection, and a layout that supports the intended enclosure.
