Engineering approach
Field-deployed agricultural hardware typically runs on batteries for months at a time, so power budgeting and low-power sleep modes shape most of the design decisions. On this board, that translates into a component set built around ESP32 and BME280 + CO₂ Sensor, with layout and stack-up decisions driven by outdoor durability, low-power operation for long field deployments, and reliable long-range connectivity.
