Agricultural CO2 & Climate Monitor
Battery-powered agricultural monitoring station built around an ESP32 with an SCD41 CO2 sensor, LoRa connectivity for long-range field data transmission, and a 1.5-inch OLED display for on-site readings, powered by dual 18650 cells with onboard battery management.

Project overview
Battery-powered agricultural monitoring station built around an ESP32 with an SCD41 CO2 sensor, LoRa connectivity for long-range field data transmission, and a 1.5-inch OLED display for on-site readings, powered by dual 18650 cells with onboard battery management.
Engineering approach
Field-deployed agricultural hardware typically runs on batteries for months at a time, so power budgeting and low-power sleep modes shape most of the design decisions. On this board, that translates into a component set built around ESP32, SCD41 CO2 Sensor, LoRa and Dual 18650, with layout and stack-up decisions driven by outdoor durability, low-power operation for long field deployments, and reliable long-range connectivity.
